Ottawa Bike Paths

Ottawa and Gatineau have over 250 kilometers of bicycle paths through out the region and most of them are very scenic - along rivers, canals and forested hills. There are also many good routes along the main roads and some have special bike lanes to make commuting easy. An interesting fact for many bicycle enthusiasts is that Ottawa has more bicycle commuters than any other city in Canada and is second only to San Francisco in all of North America.
